way to salvation

JESUS LOVES YOU and wants you to have a personal relationship with Him, and to spend eternity in Heaven.

(John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall

not perish but have eternal life.")

However, SIN keeps you from having this relationship and eternal home.  God says that EVERYONE is a sinner,

and sinSEPARATES us from God. (Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"; Romans

6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.)

JESUS DIED on the cross and rose again to pay the price for your sin, so you can know God and have a

heavenly home. (Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.")  You can't earn salvation; it's a FREE GIFT! (Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.)

You must ACCEPT THIS GIFT personally for it to be yours.  (Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.")  Jesus wants to come into your heart and life: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Jesus, in Revelation 3:20.

If you are ready to accept this gift, pray this prayer:

"Dear God, I know I am a sinner.  Right now I forsake my sins.  Please forgive me.  Jesus, come into my heart right now.  I trust your death on the cross for me.  I surrender my life to You, and I want to live for You from now on."
